Transforming women's lives through the power of God's Word

June 2008

New Area Conference
Recently we were delighted when Tina Stevens in Solihull indicated that she would like to put on a KYB Day Conference in her area. She had really appreciated attending KYB conferences in the past and for many years had wanted to put on a conference in her area and finally felt the time was right. Sandra Gilbert, our newest member of the National Leadership Team, was the speaker and she spoke on the theme of ‘suffering,’ the day was entitled
‘When the going gets tough.’
Focusing on Peter & Joseph she looked at
:
Happy ever after, is it true?
The fiery trial
Don’t let yesterday spoil today.

It was a wonderful day as this comment illustrates, “I thought Sandra’s ministry was wonderful – so thought provoking and so much to continue thinking and meditating on. It is a huge subject that affects us all. I felt every aspect of the day was just wonderfully touched with the gentleness and compassion of Christ to suffering hearts.”

Around 40 women came and aside from appreciating Sandra’s ministry, there was ministry in music and a wonderful book review. There was a very special atmosphere and we really sensed the blessing of God on the whole event.

Residential Conference up North
We are longing to reach out to more women further north in the country who as yet do not have much access to KYB ministry. Consequently we went to look at a conference centre up near Doncaster recently, which looks very promising. It’s early days yet, but the hope is that we will run a residential conference in the north of the country in September 2010.

So until next time

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15: 13
