About Us

Know your Bible is part of the ministry of CWCI – Christian Women communicating International.

It began in Australia back in 1957 and has become an exciting, growing international ministry bringing spiritual enrichment to women from all walks of life, believing that we are “all one in Christ Jesus.”

To bring women to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as Saviour
To deepen and enrich the spiritual lives of women
To help them cope with life in their homes, work and communities
To enable them to play a more effective role in their own churches and in all their service for the Lord.

There is a management board or (leadership team) in Australia, New Zealand and the UK and Know Your Bible study groups now exist in around 35 different countries.

The UK has responsibility to support the work of Know Your Bible both in the UK and in Europe. A particular focus of our work is translating KYB material into different languages to make the Bible accessible to women in Eastern Europe. Find out more about our translation work.

We have no special sources of finance. Under God we are dependent on freewill offerings and gifts.
